Things to do on Isla Mujeres
You can relax or find many things to do on Isla Mujeres. Beach clubs, diving, snorkeling, golf cart tours, visit the turtle farm, take a tour to nearby Isla Contoy, whale shark tours, fishing or volunteering.
So many decisions, where should I sit on the beach today, what should I eat, what should I drink? We’ll tell you our favorites on the Isla Mujeres Map & Travel Guide.
A fun and different kind of food tour
A really fun way to try some local cuisine is with Cultura Cruisers, ride a bike or go by golf cart to some fun food finds in the colonia. Learn about local food traditions while you taste!

Snorkeling
The very best snorkeling is buy boat, it’s very inexpensive, about $20us per person to go out on a boat with a group of other snorkelers and visit the nearby reefs. From shore snorkeling is best at Garrafon, there are two Garrafon snorkel parks, The Garrafon All-inclusive snorkel park, and the small Garrafon de Castillo next door, which is about $3us plus your snorkel equipment if you need to rent. The main difference here, other than the price is that Garrafon Park is a large full service park with great facilities, pool, food and drinks, and other activities. Garrafon de Castilla is a small, family run, limited food and services. But you can see the same fish snorkeling at both places! Another good, but not great place to snorkel is by the Mia Reef hotel bridge, perfect for beginners!
